What excites me...!

What excites me is... fitting into my goal pants (DONE!!!!!), gaining muscle mass, receiving an income while in grad school, being able to pay our way through a North American tour, and introducing wonderful people to this great nutritional gift (and seeing them willing to join me on this incredible journey)!

I'm working my way toward these, one step at a time!

What excites YOU??

As we are working our way toward where we are living, 9-5ing, exercising, I keep working myself up! I can't wait to get to the gym, I can't wait to see people on a regular basis, I can't wait to get my studying and school applications off, I can't wait to see others' progress!

Sorry for the short post today.

Total Inches Released: 57!!!!!!

Please see my website or contact me for any information that you may need or any questions you may have! Keep *relatively* up to date with my inches tracker (I stopped watching weight for 2 reasons: 1) I don't have a scale any more, 2) muscle weighs more than fat and my new excitement is muscle mass!) here!

Have a healthy, wealthy day! :)

First ever Expo and start of a 2 week fitness challenge!

Expo in Coaldale went well! Hoping to have some people join me on this incredible journey soon! :)

I have decided to join a friend in a 14 day fitness challenge - I haven't yet decided what this will entail but I do know that I am very excited! :) For the first week, I'll be down in the Lethbridge area so I can get a lot of climbing in and hopefully work out a run schedule! I think that my plan will be to engage in some physical activity for at least an hour each day and keep strict with my Isagenix plan - 2 shakes, 2 snacks, 1 meal each day (ice cream cake fits in there somewhere, right?!). I will also be doing a 2-day cleanse in this 14 day period (and maybe the first half of another)! The trick is to figure out when will work best! :) No physical activity when cleansing.
Before pictures will be taken tonight or tomorrow morning!

More exciting news! I'm working on getting the family on board to all do a 30-day cleanse together! Sister, mom, brother seem to be on board! Next step is Hubby! :) It would be so fantastic to have us all going through it together and supporting each other! Anybody who wants to join us is more than willing! :) Hoping for Oct 1 start. Don't worry, you can still have Thanksgiving turkey! :)

That's the beauty of Isagenix, you can still eat that stuff you love, you just don't feel guilty about it!

Signing off for now and will be updating daily for this 14 day challenge! :)

Sept 21: 10 min of Elliptical (I'm not making excuses for the lack of exercise yesterday! :))
Sept 22: 3 climbing routes (estimated 45 min total spent climbing), 1 hour walk around Henderson Lake
Sept 23: 1.5 climbing routes (20ish minutes) - TIIIIRED! , 1 hour walk around Henderson
Sept 24:Cleanse
Sept 25: Cleanse
Sept 26:
Sept 27: Climbing (I think)
Sept 28: Climbing- 3 routes for sure
Sept 29: Nothing from here down :(
Sept 30:
Oct 1:
Oct 2:
Oct 3: Cleanse Day
Oct 4: Cleanse Day

I don't remember when and what I did for exercise anymore :( I know that I haven't done anything since coming back "home". Apparently leaving the yard is not the safest option when there are cougars, bears, and wolves :S. Hoping to get to a gym soon!!!

Update to follow tomorrow (post-cleanse, Oct 4!)

Day... I've lost track and have NOT fallen off the Earth! :)

Hi everyone,

It has been FOREVER since I wrote a post and I think I have a pretty good excuse - no internet! :(
Here I am, on day unknown, preparing for the Coaldale Natural Health and Wellness Expo (come see me!) to spread the word on this amazing product!
I haven't the slightest idea where my measurements and weight are at (I threw out our scale when we moved and I feel mostly ok with that!) and I need to get some measurements done but I DO have pictures from the end of month 4 (or what I THOUGHT was week 16, day 120). Below is the comparison of my day 1, 30, 60, 90, and my supposed day 127 - I lost track of time somewhere, and apparently can't count to 120 on the calendar...

I kind of had to improvise with the photo taking most recently - my photographer started a new job and we are living in a new space.

I can sure see the difference, can you?

It has been 2 weeks since I took that picture (give or take) and I can still feel my tummy shrinking! It is awesome!

On a related, unrelated topic, Isagenix came out with a NEW bar that's pretty tasty (I still like the Chocolate Decadence and Lemon Passion Crunch better) but the hubby likes this one! It's called Nutty Caramel Cashew and it tastes kind of like butterscotch.

I'll be handing out samples at the Expo (come see meeeeeeee - *hint, hint!*).

Hmmmm... What else has happened since I last wrote on here? Oh! I started blending my shakes and BBB (Bedtime Belly Buster/Blaster) with ice. The blender I got doesn't seem to like ice too much so I put very little in with the water. I assume it is for this reason that it doesn't really change the consistency of the Dutch Chocolate IsaLean Shake but I really like the ice blended up with the Natural Vanilla IsaLean Pro Shake

I think that's all for today! I will make sure to share how the Expo goes! Thanks for checking in :).

Day 101

Well, boys and girls, I just completed another easy peasy 2-day cleanse but am having such an issue with the crap food today. I don't think it is so much cravings as habit. I don't even know why I bought it (I assume grocery shopping on a cleanse day MAY have had something to do with it). I've made amazing progress without really changing my eating habits so I guess it's time to take that big step (again). I lost a lot of weight with changing our grocery list and then reverted to quick and easy when time didn't permit (and we got lazy) through school and all that accompanies it - guess what else accompanied? Most of my lost weight! I can only imagine where things would go if I coupled that with the good eating. Not to mention, I'm not LOSING this time, I'm RELEASING! FOREVER!

Time to de-lazy! In 2 weeks we move cities and jobs and hopefully other things change with it, such as the eating and hopefully we get back exercising. We haven't had the time or energy to get to the gym and I'm making even more excuses with the running but at least I've been to the rockwall several times a week (when they don't change their hours overnight!). These next 2 weeks are going to be a mess - packing, adapting to early mornings and trying to accomplish something in the afternoons, and making sure to climb as much as possible! Hopefully I can still make it down to climb here several times a month and visit my baby brothers!

Sorry, not much to say this time around but figured I should put some thoughts out there! If you currently use Isagenix, some tips and tricks would be super appreciated! If you are not and would like to give it a try, please let me know! You can email me or visit my website. This type of journey is incredibly supportive! There are people all over the world that are a part of this family we all want all of you (and us) to succeed! :)

I know that this is not necessarily a positive post but it's always important to remember that bad days happen too! Things are about to change! :)

Today is about CONVENIENCE!

The convenience thing has been coming up a lot lately so why not write a post about it?!

I got a text from my mom this morning with a picture of my brothers enjoying their breakfast.

They are currently on a cross-Canada tour and Isagenix's shakes were a much better meal option than restaurant food for 4 months! They stocked up on IsaLean, IsaLean Pro, and IsaLean Bars for their trek across the country. We got them a shipment sent to one of their hotels to restock part way through - easy peasy! Their biggest struggle was that they didn't have any shakers with them so the first few weeks were restricted to bars. I think that changed when they ordered a couple! :)

When I first started, I kept going primarily because of the convenience. The amazing shrinking was definitely the bonus! Even now, when I'm out in the field, it is so much easier to mix up a shake than make up a sandwich (yuck, anyway!) or deal with some sort of leftover lunch (extra yucky!). The individual packages would help that much more but I don't like spending more for the same product so I use Tupperware containers and pack up 2 scoops in my lunch kit with snacks. If you are somewhere that you can get cold, filtered water from, it makes it even easier but being out in the 30C sunshine, I can still make it work! I pack my shaker full of ice on my way out the door and it's perfect by shake time!

Very few meal ideas are easier or HEALTHIER! This is especially true of lunch foods. The options for us are normally soup, sandwiches, leftovers (generally not veggies!), Kraft Dinner, you know - those GREAT choices!

Bottom line, using Isagenix for its convenience just makes sense! The nutritional cleansing, detoxifying, and weight loss may be side effects from whatever your primary focus is! Remember, one person's side effect is another's intended outcome!!!

Day NINETY!

Today is number NINE - ZERO!

The IsaBody Challenge period is over in one more month and I still have so much more to do!
I still don't feel great about my body, but I know it is a work in progress inside and out, physically and mentally!

The numbers and pictures are only teensy tinesy parts of the big ol' puzzle and it's important to remember that. :)

Some days I definitely feel better than others and the last few have not been in the better category. I need to start focusing on my muscle growth too! :) I feel pretty stellar about that when I realize that my smushies aren't all that smushy any more! Luckily, it hasn't started affecting my inches just yet (that I can tell) but I imagine it will soon. But as I've said, focus on big picture, little parts. My chicken legs aren't going to stay chicken and my tummy is going to continue shrinking! :)

This last month is a trial for some new things and I'm pretty excited about it. I got the Whey Thins in yesterday, pretty yummy and extra flavourful! I got the Sour Cream and Chive as I'm not a BBQ fan (unless it's ACTUALLY BBQ).

I also got the components of Bedtime Belly Blaster/Buster (or any synonym that starts with B! :)) yesterday and had my first serving of it last night. The taste was interesting but definitely tolerable and I like the Sleep Spray. I've never taken a melatonin product before and I sleep pretty well normally so I don't know where I stand on it. The ingredients aren't scary in the least (melatonin, valerian, chamomile, etc.) so we'll see what happens. I woke up pretty refreshed and sleep past alarm due to habit! Excited to see where the BBB takes me!

I think that's all for today, folks! Keep posted for additional updates, especially regarding BBB!

Day 87, Post Cleanse - Actually day 89 :)

Sorry I never got around to posting this on Sunday. We wound up traveling and without internet for a bit but here is what I had typed up! :)

I just finished yet another 2-day cleanse and unfortunately this one is the most disappointing to date. :(
I figure that as you progress through the system, the slower the changes occur. The reason for this is simply that if you have less to lose, your body isn't going to let go of it quite as quickly (by my logic, anyway).
If nothing else, I have to come up with explanations to prevent me from getting disappointed and discouraged as I'm sure we are all aware of what that does to our progress! EAT ALL THE YUMMY!!!

I've also been what some would call "cheaty" when it comes to the program but I don't subscribe to that mentality. I just haven't had the initiative to give up garbage food just yet (and use the typically excuses such as time) and I know that would fix some of the slow moving numbers. As I said a few days ago, the BBB is on its way so hopefully that extra protein will help some, too!
